Advanced Project Management
Training
Almost at every turn there are organizations
offering basic project management courses focused on the single
project environment. Finding courses focused on the multi-project
environment can be challenging at best.
In an effort to meet the needs of experienced project managers,
operating in the multi-project environment, BKC has collaborated
with many of the industry's leading experts to offer world class
training for the multi-project environment. The result is a series
of public or on-site workshops designed to take the multi-project
manager to the next level in their career development.
In addition to public and on-site workshops, BKC also organizes
public events such as conferences and summits to introduce Project
Managers to these education topics.

Enterprise Project
Management (EPM)
To accomplish almost anything in an organization
you most likely going to execute a project. This means that organizations
(especially large ones) are inherently multi-project environments.
Are you ready to take your organization to a whole new level of
performance? Allow our industry experts to show you how to implement
EPM, so you too can begin reaping the benefits of having an organized
and consistent approach to delivering projects that contribute
directly to the organizations mission.

Advanced Project Portfolio
Management (PPM)
This workshop documents an easy-to-follow
eight step process that any project portfolio manager can use,
either in starting the process from the ground up, or in improving
an existing process. The eight steps describe how to take existing
and usually grossly incomplete data about projects and build the
compelling information needed to drive improvement. In this workshop,
participants learn both strategy and tactics for improving the
project mix within an organization. Based upon the powerful concepts
in the new book by Kendall and Rollins, Advanced Project Portfolio
Management and the PMO, you will learn how to take a portfolio
and make it perform better than ever before.

Program/Project Management
Office (PMO)
The Program/Project Management Office (PMO)
is the fastest growing management structure in the profession
of project management today. The PMO is the critical element in
effectively and efficiently managing: the triple constraints (cost,
schedule, performance) of programs and projects, time-to-market,
and the enterprise bottom line. PMO today exists in various shapes
and sizes. PMO are more visible today then in the 1960s when the
concept was developed and practiced successfully in aviation and
aerospace companies. Recently, partly based on their increased
visibility, PMO failures are being seen in all industries.
This interactive workshop will enable the student to anticipate
and answers questions related to the creation of a PMO, PMO implementation
timelines, PMO barriers to success, PMO maturity models, Lean
PMO practices, PMO strategic and tactical objectives, simplified
PMO Knowledge Management, the framework to implementing a successful
PMO adaptable to any organization, and the integration of a Portfolio
Management System. The student will take away considerable reference
material related to PMO best applicable practices.
This workshop is a necessity for project managers and executives
that have recognized that the implementation of a PMO is not an
overnight express setup and desire to weigh critical factors within
their organizations prior to implementing a PMO.
This workshop is also essential for those organizations who have
implemented a PMO that has stalled during the development, may
not be living up to original expectations, or has failed and needs
to be rescued for enterprise success.

solution.
